Creating Cohesion with Christel Butchart

I’m putting my tools to use to support people working within small and large businesses, non-profits, and mission-driven organizations. I’ve created this program because I see an opportunity for collective healing, one relationship at a time.

With a Master's in International Relations focused on Peace and Conflict Resolution, and extensive global experience, I am a certified facilitator and seasoned educator who has successfully taught thousands of professionals and educators. As the founder of Creating Cohesion, LLC, I bring proven expertise and equity focus to implementing Restorative Practices, ensuring over 96% positive feedback from workshop attendees, and fostering effective communication and collaboration within diverse teams.

Creating Cohesion Facilitators

Ida Trisolini

Ida is Light and Love out loud. Ida began as a mentor and is now also a dear friend.  She is the one I am lucky enough to work most closely with in my role at Peaceful Schools NC.   Her care for those around her is healing, loving, and fierce when needed.

Creating Cohesion Super Powers:

Holding accountability with love; Reflecting the light within

Dara Nix-Stevenson

I began to work with Dara after watching her fierce advocacy for Restorative Practices within a school struggling to fully embrace the process.  I continue to learn from Dara each time we work together and deeply respect her depth of knowledge and true expertise.

Creating Cohesion Super Powers:

Unveiling systemic complexities; Reflection as growth and learning; Change-agent

Danielle Johnson-Webb

Over a decade-long friendship, Danielle calls me to my highest self as an anti-racist white woman.  She is an expert in the intersectionality of race, power and privilege in communities and how to move towards equity and love within these systems.

Creating Cohesion Super Powers:

Deep empathy; Authenticity; Meeting people exactly where they are and supporting their growth

Rachel Anderson

Rachel, in many ways, has been a doula for Creating Cohesion, standing with me as I bring this new project into the world. She’s my first call when I need a trusted thinking-partner.

Creating Cohesion Super Powers:

Trauma informed practices; Pulling back the layers to find the opening for transforming relationships; Integrity and trust
